Kadeem Jack (hobbled by right ankle) sends Princeton to Division III men’s basketball semifinals

Myles Powell scored 28 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field and Seton Hall pulled away in the second half to defeat Bethune-Cookman 84-70 Wednesday night.

Angel Delgado had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Pirates (18-14, 9-9 Big East), who never trailed. Sterling Gibbs had 11 points and Khadeen Carrington 10. Seton Hall shot 50 percent, made 12 of 24 from 3-point range and outrebounded the Wildcats 46-26.

Cornelius Huggins had 23 points and seven rebounds for Bethune-Cookman (16-16, 9-9), which lost its sixth straight game.

Down 27-24 at the half, Seton Hall seized the lead and never trailed. The Pirates opened the second half with a 12-2 run for a 47-32 advantage and pulled away after the Wildcats scored 12 of the final 15 points.

The Wildcats shot just 39 percent, making 10 of 29, in the first half but turned it around in the second. They shot 46 percent overall (25 of 57) and made 9 of 21 (44 percent) from 3-point range. The Pirates shot only 37 percent (16 of 42) but they made 12 of 24 3-pointers.
